Almost one year ago today I gushed about how much [info]brightlyblack is a kick ass DJ and I mean it still! Everyone was a kick ass DJ last night Damion, [info]fogdweller, Phylean, everyone. I danced so much that I started to enter that realm when reality folds onto itself and all that is left is a kaleidoscope of sound and motion.
I just realized that one of the songs I played almost one year ago I played once again last night, oh well. Two of the songs I wanted to play I ripped yesterday on a REALLY old CD-r (2x speed) the the deck wouldn't read it. So no Theatre of Ice - Miron or Teenage TV Terrorists - Kissing on the Phone.
Zombina and the Skeletones - Nobody likes You (when you're dead)
Horrorpops - Walk like a Zombie
45 Grave - Riboflavin
Uninvited Guest - The Devil's Toybox
Anders Manga - Solitary Heaven
Sixteens - First Place
Project 12:01 - Cleo Kisses Ceaesar
Xorcist - The Gift
Coil - Windowpane
Wumpscut - Wreath of Barbs
Shadows ot Ashes - Detonation
I danced to Shadow to Ashes and as the song ended some guy in the booth yelled "play 45 grave" and I yelled back "I already did, you should have been here earlier". QUICKLY got a drink to run back to the dance floor because Damion was playing the telephone stomp mix of Personal Jesus.
I beat that if [info]rickamortis was there last night I would be dead from dancing to much. -
